Issued vs. Redeemed

When a customer registers for a class or event in Union, their registration is assigned a status to help you track activity and attendance. These registration states—Issued, Redeemed, and Canceled—give you a clear view of how a pass or ticket is being used and whether the customer actually attended. Here's what each state means and how to use this information in your reports and daily operations.

Registration Issued: Someone registered for a performance or did not attend.

Registration Redeemed: Someone who was checked-in for a performance. An attendee can be check-in by a staff memberself-service registration & check-in with a QR Code, or self-service check-in with a QR code.

When a customer is registered for a virtual class, their registration will automatically turn to Redeemed if they click Join against their class or replay.

Registration Canceled: An attendee or someone with an elevated role in Union canceled the registration.
