Start your Campaign (Make it Live)

So... you're ready to make your campaign live! Once you’ve built your campaign (emails, delays, settings — all the good stuff), here’s how to launch it:

Click the green “Start” button in the top-right corner.

Before it launches, a “Review and start campaign” window will pop up so you can double-check your:

  • Trigger (who should enter)
  • Messages (who will get them)
  • Goal (what counts as a conversion)
  • Exit (when someone should leave the campaign)

Once you've reviewed and chosen "who should get your campaign" (see below), you'll click "Start Campaign".

Who Should Get your Campaign?

Before you start your campaign, you'll need to decide who should receive it. You'll be prompted to choose between two options:

Future additions only (most common)

  • Sends the campaign only to people who meet the trigger after it's live
  • Great for campaigns that are tied to new actions, like a new pass purchase or subscription

Example:

You’ve built a campaign for your New Student Special.

Depending on your trigger, it might match people who already have (or had) that pass.

If you don’t want to send the campaign to students with expired passes, choose Future additions only — this way, only new students moving forward will receive it.

Current people and future additions

  • Sends the campaign to people who already meet the trigger condition, plus anyone new who qualifies later
  • Helpful if you’re trying to re-engage or catch up with folks based on past behavior

Example:

You’re setting up a win-back campaign for customers who haven’t attended in 90+ days.

Because these people already meet the condition, you’ll want to choose Current people and future additions so the message sends right away.
