Managing Payment Settings in Union

Understanding and managing your payment settings in Union is crucial for effectively handling your Stripe account and tailoring your payment preferences to suit your needs. Below is a guide to help you navigate these settings.

Accessing Your Stripe Account

Navigate to Settings then choose 'Payment and click 'Stripe Account'. You will receive a verification code on the phone number associated with your Stripe account to ensure authorized access. The phone number associated to your Stripe account will receive a text for verification.


Customizing Account Balance Application

Union offers the flexibility to decide whether an account balance should automatically apply to recurring payments.

Example: If a student has a $25 account balance and a monthly auto-renewing subscription, this balance will automatically apply to his next payment unless used beforehand. By deselecting this option, the balance can only be applied to new subscriptions and orders.


Gifting Passes

Union allows customers to gift any pass (a non-auto-renewing product) to a new or existing customer by default. Learn more about gift passes and visit our support article here.


Self-Gifting Feature

The self-gifting feature in Union can be enabled to allow customers to gift themselves a gift card or a pass. This is particularly useful during special promotions or holidays.

Example: During a holiday special, anyone visiting the landing page can purchase the offer, including the purchaser themselves. Enabling this feature allows for such flexibility.
