Mass Editing a Pass or Subscription

There are times when you need to apply a change to a pass or subscription whether it's simply adding a new event category or an update to the name. Union allows you to apply these changes to all current pass and/or subscription holders or only apply for future purchases.

Mass Editing a Subscription

If you are mass editing a subscription, once you have applied your edits, you will see a pop up that asks how you would like to Apply all changes to:

subscription

By choosing, New Subscribers Only, this will only apply changes to new subscriptions purchased.

By choosing, New and x existing subscribers, this will apply the changes to current subscribers and all new subscriptions purchased.

Please note that if you are wanting to apply changes to existing pass/subscription holders, there could be customers who are not applicable to the change. For instance, you had customers who received a discount. In the pop up, Union has bolded how many exclusions there will be. To review this list, simply click the bolded phrase. In this example, existing subscribers.

From the pop up window, you can click on the 2 existing subscribers to see the list and apply the changes to their accounts manually. *Pro-tip: If you are using a Mac, you can hold down the Command key and click on the bolded n existing subscribers to open a new tab so your changes are not lost.

Once you've update your customers, you can go back to the tab where you were editing your subscription and confidently know that you are apply these changes to all active pass holders.

Mass Editing a Pass

Similar to editing a subscription, once you have applied your edits, you will see a pop up to ask you how you would like to apply your changes.

By choosing, Save & Change n Passholders, this will apply the changes to all current passholders and future purchases.

If Save without changing passholders is chosen, the changes will only be applied to future purchases.

If you are applying changes to current passholders, similar to a subscription mass edit, there could be customers who are not applicable to the change. For instance, you had customers who received edits to their pass only like an increase in registration limits. In the pop up, Union has bolded how many exclusions there will be. To review this list, simply click the bolded phrase. In this example, 1 existing passholder

From the pop up window, you can click on the 1 existing passholder to see the list and apply the changes to their accounts manually. *Pro-tip: If you are using a Mac, you can hold down the Command key and click on the bolded n existing subscribers to open a new tab so your changes are not lost.

Once you've update your customers, you can go back to the tab where you were editing your pass and confidently know that you are apply these changes to all active pass holders.
