Take Off Sale
In Union, you can control when registrations for your classes are closed by manually taking the class off sale. This feature is particularly useful if you want to ensure that no more registrations are accepted once a class is about to begin, or if you need time to finalize class details before the session starts.
To access this option, simply navigate to the specific class, click on the dropdown menu, and select "Take Off Sale".
Payroll Use Case
In addition to managing class registration, the "Take Off Sale" feature can be a valuable tool when dealing with payroll situations.
For instance, if you need to cancel a class due to external factors (e.g., inclement weather) but still want to pay the teacher, taking the class off sale is a better option than fully canceling it. This ensures that the class no longer accepts new registrations, but still counts toward the teacher’s payroll since it hasn’t been officially canceled.
