Customize Your Organization's Waiver & FAQ

Union helps you manage risk at your business by requiring every customer to actively accept your liability release before they can purchase passes or book a spot in an event. Out of the box, Union provides your org with standard waiver & liability text. You can customize this at any time and we do recommend looking at including some additional terms and conditions. Please connect with your team to ensure your waiver/liability is written with your business in mind.

For a detailed outline of Union's waiver settings, please visit our support article.

How often will customers need to accept the waiver?

They will only be required to accept the waiver once. If you edit your waiver, existing customers will be prompted to reaccept the waiver.

Where will they see the waiver?

There are a few options for how one can accept the waiver. Our waiver management support article can outline them for you in greater detail. Let's take a quick look at what it would look like for self-service customers.

When your customer goes through the registration flow, they must click the checkbox that states, I accept the Liability Waiver Agreement for [YOUR ORG NAME] in order to complete their registration.

The customer can always click on the bolded, Liability Waiver Agreement, to view the waiver in full.

What's great, is if you have any hyperlinks included (i.e. linking to your website's policies), they can click on these directly from this waiver view.

Is there a link I can use to put it on our website?

Yes, you can grab a link when viewing your waiver QR Code.
