Setting Up Livestream Music in OBS
Step 1: Download BlackHole 2CH
- Go to the BlackHole website.
- Click on the "Can't Afford to Donate" option.
- Check your email for a link to download the software.
- Click the link provided in the email, this will redirect you to the website.
- Click the download for "BlackHole 2CH"
Please note that this link does expire within 24 hours, so if you do not download BlackHole within that time frame, you will need to follow the above steps again.
- Follow the prompts to download the software.
Step 2: Add BlachHole 2CH as an Audio Device
- Once downloaded, go to your computer's audio settings.
- You should now see BlackHole listed as a device!
Step 3: Create Audio Outputs
- Navigate to "Audio Midi Setup" by searching in your launchpad.
- Click the plus (+) button under audio devices.
- Name the output something like "Stream Audio (OUTPUT)" or "Stream Music (OUTPUT) ".
Step 4: Set Up Microphone Input
- Navigate to "Audio Midi Setup" by searching in your launchpad.
- Click the plus (+) button under audio devices again.
- Create a new device called "Stream Microphone (INPUT)" for audio input.
Step 5: Adjust Sound Settings
- Switch the sound input to "Stream Microphone (INPUT)"
- Change the sound output to "Stream Audio (OUTPUT).
Step 6: Configure OBS
- Open OBS and add a new source for "Stream Music".
- Select Blackhole 2CH as the device.
