Importing a Marketing List

If you have an existing email list you'd like to import to Union so you can manage all of your marketing within Customer.io, it's simple. Uploading through Union ensures that you don't have any duplicates on your email list, and will ensure that any information for someone on your mailing list will be kept when they become a passholder or subscriber.

First, export a CSV file of your marketing list from your marketing provider.

Next, in Union, click on People -> Upload Marketing List:

Click 'Upload Marketing List':

Give your list a name, pick your provider, and upload the CSV export you previously downloaded from your provider:

Note that it can up to a couple of hours to get thing uploaded, especially if you have a large list.
